3 ways to be sure you are using a recruiter that you can trust:
1. A legitimate recruiter will not charge you any fees to get a job on the SWS.
The only fees you should have to pay are for your visa and travel costs to the UK and back.
Tip: If you are asked to pay any other fees, please contact the Visa Sponsor.
2. Recruiters should be recommended by the Seasonal Worker Visa Sponsor.
The Visa Sponsors will list the recruiters they recommend on their website. Check the contact details on any communication you receive. Make sure your recruiter is contacting you from the same email or phone number listed. Legitimate offers will not be sent via WhatsApp or Telegram, or from a personal account.
Tip: Do not give your personal details (name, email, phone number, etc) to anyone unless you know that they are a genuine Visa Sponsor or recruiter.
3. Legitimate recruiters will not offer you special deals.
Do not accept any offer to be sponsored by anyone other than the approved sponsors. Someone who says they can get you a cheaper visa or sponsorship certificate is lying. There is no fee for the sponsorship certificate and the visa price is set by the UK government. Any other option is a scam.
Tip: Only follow the legal route to work as a Seasonal Worker, as described in Just Good Work.
