4 Steps to a Seasonal Worker Job in the UK!
1. Find a Job
You must apply to the Seasonal Workers Scheme through one of the Visa Sponsors listed below. Click on the Visa Sponsors listed below to go to the website where you need to apply.
◼ AGRI-hr
◼ Concordia (UK) Ltd
◼ Fruitful Jobs
◼ HOPS Labour Solutions Ltd
◼ Pro-Force Limited
2. Have an Interview
The Visa Sponsor will arrange to interview you after you apply. They will give you information about the jobs that are available in the UK. This is a good time to ask questions about what the job is like, where you will live, and what you will need to bring.
Just Good Work has a checklist of things you should ask about. Download the app for free.
3. Review Your Contract
If your application is successful, you will receive a job offer and a certificate of sponsorship from your Visa Sponsor.
Your job offer should be in a language you understand. It is important to read the job offer carefully. It is an agreement between you and your employer.
Things to Check in Your Job Offer:
✅ The start and end dates of the contract
✅ Details of where you will work
✅ A description of the work you will do
✅ What your wages will be and how you will be paid
✅ What you will need to pay for accommodation and what is included
✅ What health insurance or other benefits you will get
Do Not Sign an Offer or Contract if:
❌ You don't understand the terms you are agreeing to
❌ Important details are missing
❌ The contract terms are different from the offer, or if you were told different terms
You can ask the sponsor if you have any questions.
Tip: Save a copy of your offer or contract on your phone in the Just Good Work app - a free mobile app for migrant worker support.
4. Apply for your visa
You can apply for a visa online here.
You cannot apply for your visa until you have been issued with a Certificate of Sponsorship by one of the sponsors. Your sponsor may also help you apply for a visa - you are responsible for the visa fee.
Tip: Returning to the UK? Horticultural Seasonal Workers can work in the UK for a maximum of 6 months in any 12-month period. This means that you must wait 6 months before you can return to the UK on a new visa. You are not permitted to apply for an extension to stay in the UK.
